Description

This single sofa features a traditional wingback silhouette. The high back (total height 92 cm) and winged sides are designed to retain warmth and block drafts. The upholstery is a heavy-duty polyester tweed fabric in a charcoal heather color. Tweed fabric has a coarse weave that resists snagging. The front edge of the armrests and the base are trimmed with individually applied brass-plated nailheads spaced 1.5 cm apart. The nailheads are decorative and not structural. The seat cushion uses a multi-layer system: a bottom layer of natural coir (coconut fiber) for firmness, a middle layer of latex foam for elasticity, and a top layer of 3 cm of gel-infused memory foam to dissipate heat. The back cushion is filled with a blend of shredded polyurethane foam and polyester fiber. The frame is made from kiln-dried hardwood (mixed species, primarily poplar). The chair sits on four turned wooden legs with a dark walnut stain. The legs are pre-attached. This product is heavy (approx. 25 kg) due to the solid construction.
